the general idea

The Monash Energy Club aims to address an opportunity currently unavailable to Monash students: a student run organisation targeted at every faculty within Monash University, to provide exclusive career opportunities and the forum required to learn about Australia’s energy transformation.

Our mission

To shape the future of the Australian energy industry by educating and connecting Monash’s most enthusiastic students to energy-related issues and organisations.

our Vision Statement

To make our members, from every faculty at Monash University, the most tailored students to Australia’s energy industry by keeping them aware of cutting edge technologies, policies, news and trends. To also provide our industry partners with the direct connection to students they need for exclusive internship, graduate, and PHD opportunities.

Our goals

  1. Ensure that all valuable organisations have direct access to the most tailored student for recruitment purposes. This would ideally occur via introduction by the Monash Energy Club’s services and our events.

  2. Shape members to be perfectly suited for careers in the energy industry. This means education of how Australia’s energy system operates, future trends, and where they should be seeking employment.

  3. To be representative of the energy industry through a membership base comprised equally from science, engineering, and humanities. We will keep these sectors engaged by having a diverse scope of events and services.

  4. Always be original in the club’s events, ideas, and goals. The growth of the club should attract more unique and representative organisations, members, and professionals within the energy industry.
