Our Past Month
Energy industry night
The industry night hosted in partnership with RESS was a great success! We had a large turnout from students who were interested in pursuing careers in the energy space with all tickets selling out.
For many people it can be an uncomfortable and nerve-racking experience to approach new faces and discuss themselves and career opportunities, so it was great to see our attendees moving forward and actively engaging with the industry representatives.
We would like to thank our attending representatives from Monash Talent, Deloitte, AEMC, Birdwood Energy, the Monash Energy Institute, Beca and Woodside for taking the time to speak to Monash students. This event would not have been possible without the help of our excellent sponsors Beca, Monash Energy Institute, Woodside and Vestas. With the great turnout of the Industry Night this year, we will aim to make it even bigger next year!

Energy Debate
Get that competitive spirit alive and find out more about the different sides of energy with the debate we have planned for Semester 2. More information will be released as we approach the date, but keep an eye out on our emails and our website for more information!
Student Expo
Monash students have exceptional academic skillsets and capabilities to help solve global challenges and we want to highlight and demonstrate your potential by hosting a student expo that will give Monash students the opportunity to demonstrate their work. We will have opportunities available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students to participate, so follow us on Facebook and check our website to stay in touch regarding upcoming events.
Other Opportunities
Applications for the Fundraising and Communications Fellowship program operated by Climate for Change (a Melbourne-based climate action non-for-profit) have just opened. This is a four-month volunteer program that involves weekly online training sessions taught by industry professionals. You will also develop experience within not-for-profits, climate change sectors and much more. Click below to read more.
